Hearing Voices

So I know it's been a bit, but I have been working slowly on my website, I just haven't been posting here because...well I kinda forgot. Sorry 'bout that.

I've been learning a lot about grids, and after playing around with a few options, I finally landed on a good layout for my page where I put all the info for my games, and I'm really liking how it's turning out so far. It took a couple tries, and I crashed out a couple times, but I think it's coming together.

In other news, I just put on the longest set of press-on nails I've ever had, so I'm re-learning how to type as we speak :p It's totally worth it though, 'cause I love seeing them I glance at my hands like "ooh they're so pretty!" anyway I'm doing my best to correct any typos, but if there are any, now y'all know why. I think I'll work on this page very soon, since it's looking a little bare-bones right now, but I'm probably gonna go to bed soon, so it might be a bit. Of course, by the time anyone can and does read this, it'll likely be quite nice looking. But I suppose we shall see.

Today I made this page of my website to play around with it. I don't honestly know if this will stick around since it's a bit weird trying to blog in html but we shall see :) I only made my neocities account a few days ago, on the reccomendation of a friend and fellow game developer, who said that it would be a cool way to show off my portfolio and expand my programming knowledge, and so far I've really enjoyed it.

I'm still figuring out what I want to include on my site, and how I should lay it out, but methinks that's just part of the process and it's kinda fun so win-win!

I think I should definitely include a page for each of my games, with sections for art, characters, lore, maybe the story or excerpts, updates on the game, and maybe the playlist I use to put myself in the headspace for that world :) If I think of other things I'll add those too.

This is actually very helpful 'cause I do my best thinking out loud but I don't often talk to myself (out loud), but when I talk to other people it usually comes out all jumbled and confused, so this is a very helpful compromise since I'm talking to other people but also just to myself, if that makes sense. So I think this page, or something like it, will definitely be included in my site.
