Dialogue System September 19, 2026
So I've been trying to come up with a dialogue system for this specific game that will be easy to implement and expand, and I've been at this for a few weeks now (when I'm not busy with other things--yay college life). I found a set of YouTube tutorials that took a similar approach, and I've been able to tweak it to fill my needs. There's only one or two more things I need to add (which I'm reallyyy hoping will work) and then I'll be able to move on. This was...two nights ago?
But I needed a break from coding, since I've been working on that and this website, so last night I spent way too much time trying to find a good color pallete for my game :p BUT now that I have, I'm really liking it, PLUS it gave me more ideas for my game, so that was nice! (I'll keep you posted)
I think I might also change the story a bit in the near future, but the core of the game will be the same. I just think it'll better focus on the aspects of the world/vibe that I want to highlight, and maybe in the future I can add bits and pieces later.
The Idea September 19, 2026
So technically I had this idea way before now, like 3-4 months ago? But I didn't have a website to post updates to, so I thought I'd just post now what I'm thinking, and then the 'Lore' section will reflect what's actually going to be in the game, and then we can see how far everything has come. Some aspects have already changed from the initial idea, but I'm just gonna write what I currently have, and then we'll go from there.
